Should an accident occur which is viewed by lawn to be the "hire driver's" fault, then this driver is personally responsible for the payment of the vehicle damage up to a certain figure and this is known as the "Excess". Any balance above this "Excess" is paid out by the insurance company.

By additional payment of an daily amount (7.00 euros) the driver can be fully covered with no "Excess" in the event of an accident. This is often proved advantageous and the cost can be added as an extra to the Vehicle Hire Rate.
None of the insurances covers tyres, glass, locks
or damage caused by speeding or drinking.
For this
purpose a police report is always required and
your credit card details will be kept for security reasons.
This insurance
